Naghmeh Manavi has been active in the field of performing arts since 2010 as a writer, director and performer. She studied theatre at Tehran University of Art and, in recent years, has been researching/directing in the field of lecture-performance and documentary theatre. Her lecture performance the Possible was performed in Tehran (2019), Istanbul (2020), and Brussels (2023). She collaborated in the design of a performative space titled A shelter for sensitive skin with a group of international artists at the Zürcher Theater Spektakel in Zurich in 2019. Her latest work But, Will I Remember?, a lecture performance about narrative, human brain function, memory and information processing, was performed in Kaserne Basel in 2022. She lives and works in Tehran.
