Maani Petgar(b.1959) is a documentary film maker. He has worked with Amir Naderi, in The Runner (1983-84) and Water, Wind, Dust (1985) as a still photographer, assistant director and assistant editor. After The Key (Dir. Ebrahim Forouzesh-1986), he immigrated to Australia and between 1986 to 1990 worked in the Australian Film and Television Industry as a still photographer and assistant director, until he made his first experimental short, Reverse Angle in 1991.
