The stage can be empty except for a few cooking and painting items. It can be a complete representation of a kitchen that a painter has moved into. It can be split into two sections: one section a kitchen and the other a painting studio.
The cook is busy chopping, cooking, and preparing things. On the other side, the painter is busy painting.
Both are standing.
Painter: You know what? There’s no way to say when it will be finished. To me, it will never be finished. At some point I just won’t work on it anymore. I’ll move on to the next one. Sometimes I don’t want to. And sometimes I can’t.
